About MAUK News

MAUK News is an independent digital newsroom. We report on politics, business, technology, world affairs, sport and culture for readers who want accuracy before speed.

Our standards

Every story published under the MAUK News masthead is written or reviewed by a named journalist and checked by an editor. We identify our sources wherever it is safe to do so, we link to primary documents, and we label opinion clearly so it is never mistaken for reporting.

Artificial intelligence

We use AI tools inside the newsroom to assist with drafting, summarising and research. No AI-generated text is ever published without a human editor reading, verifying and approving it. Accountability for every published word rests with a person.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and transparently, noting what changed and when. To request a correction, contact the editorial desk.
