Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | October 19, 2026: Riyadh is taking another step towards strengthening digital security, with the Ministry of National Guard launching a mobile cybersecurity awareness exhibition in collaboration with the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA).

The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Daoud, Vice Minister of National Guard, in the presence of Eng. Majed bin Mohammed Al-Mazyed, Governor of the NCA, alongside ministry officials and personnel. The initiative forms part of the National Cybersecurity Awareness Campaign.

Six Interactive Pavilions Focus on Digital Safety

The two-day exhibition features six dedicated pavilions designed to provide participants with a practical understanding of cybersecurity and its importance to national security.

Through interactive activities, modern technologies and live simulations of common cyberattacks, the exhibition demonstrates how digital threats can target individuals and organizations.

Participants are also receiving guidance on safer online practices and workplace cybersecurity measures to help reduce exposure to evolving digital risks. <Cite refs={["turn310580search1","turn310580search3"]}/>

Building a Stronger Cybersecurity Culture

As digital services become increasingly integrated into everyday life and organizational operations, cybersecurity awareness has become an important part of protecting information, systems and essential services.

Initiatives such as this exhibition emphasize the role of education, preparedness and responsible digital behaviour in helping individuals recognize suspicious online activity and respond appropriately.

The collaboration between the Ministry of National Guard and the NCA also highlights the importance of coordination among national entities in promoting cybersecurity awareness.

What This Means for the Community

While the exhibition is primarily designed for Ministry of National Guard personnel, its central message is relevant to residents, businesses and organizations across Saudi Arabia: digital security requires both effective technology and informed users.

Residents can strengthen their own digital safety by using strong, unique passwords, enabling multifactor authentication, avoiding suspicious links, verifying requests for sensitive information and keeping their devices updated.
